Dungeon Days Finale
The Badgers with an army of Troglodytes faces off against Xanesha, lamia matriarch rogue, the leveled up goblin heroes from the We Be Goblins pair of adventures (along with the resurrected and leveled up Vorka), a charmed Gordon the Mimic, Oysten the Orc barbarian, a medium sized stone golem (which was the statue if the dancing girl that the Badgers never knew what the deal was with her from the beginning of season one until now), and an army of goblins just as formidable as their troglodytes
Shasta the Disasta (the Badgers alchemist) died as she lived, incinerated in ball of fire. Brother Gerard (the Badgers hard hitting half ogre monk) also suffered an ironic end when he was put into a deep slumber by the lamia then ripped to shreds by the swarm of goblins, the same goblins he had become a pariah in town for trying to help. The trog troop was on the verge of breaking under withering fire. The stone golem dancer felled hero, and many thought he was lost as well. The Badgers faced their doom.
But then The Clerics Bardiel and Erica stepped forward and the healing light of Desna washed over them. The trogs, who had never felt the invigorating power of pure positive energy, were rallied and revitalized. Hero rose to his feet, as past his charred ears two pea-sized flames streaked past and detonated in the midst of the goblin heroes. It was the work of Blizzard the Wizard, giving the goblins back what they had given, with interest.
The last standing Goblin, Poog of Zarongel, wreathed in fire, beset in the midst of his enemies, seeing all was lost, pointed his own wand of fireballs to the ground, and with a maniacal goblin laugh, fired, to immolate all.
But when the smoke cleared, the Badgers still stood, and Xanesha was alone. The Lamia fled.
Invisibly, she ran, through secret door after secret door. Honest Timothy and Hero ever right behind her, matching her move for move. But as the last door opened to a long hall, her footsteps trailed off before multiple branching corridors, and she was gone.
The Badgers reclaimed their home. Shasta and Gerard would be returned to life. Sandpoint would finally know peace. They had won.
As if by way of a final farewell, the lamia triggered, as she fled, the magic mouths set at the entrance, causing the ancient halls of Quasqueton to echo with those words of Roghan and Zelligar, which began all of the Badgers adventures, two long years ago…
